- AI Leadership & Business Impact:
- 10+ years as Director/VP of Data Science in Utilities, Energy, or Smart Grid Technologies, leading AI-driven innovations in power infrastructure and operations.
- Proven track record in AI commercialization, consulting, and executive engagement (ideally with F1000 / Large Enterprise)
- AI/ML Expertise:
- Deep Learning (CNNs, Transformers, Graph Neural Networks) for grid anomaly detection, power load balancing, and renewable energy integration.
- Reinforcement Learning (Multi-Agent RL, Deep Q-Learning) for real-time energy dispatch, demand-side management, and dynamic pricing.
- Generative AI & Bayesian Modeling for synthetic grid simulations, energy market forecasting, and outage prediction.
- Computer Vision & IoT (LiDAR, Satellite Imaging) for grid asset inspection, wildfire prevention, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Data & Infrastructure:
- Big Data (Spark, Delta Lake, Ray), IoT & Edge AI for real-time smart grid analytics, sensor fusion, and predictive maintenance.
- Federated Learning & Blockchain for secure energy trading, decentralized grid management, and demand response automation.
- Explainable AI (XAI) & Regulatory Compliance (FERC, NERC, GDPR, ESG).
- Industry Influence & Sales:

- Experience in AI solution sales, strategic partnerships, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and drive AI-led business growth.
- AI Strategy & Change Management:
- Past experience in consulting firms or leading AI transformation in large utility enterprises.
- Expertise in AI governance, stakeholder alignment, and change management in regulated energy markets.
