The Role
Lead AI-driven transformation in global supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing, deploying cutting-edge AI/ML architectures for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics automation, and supply chain resilience. Architect and implement Reinforcement Learning, Generative AI, Graph Neural Networks, and Predictive Analytics to optimize end-to-end supply chain operations at scale.
Ideal Profile
- Supply Chain AI Leadership: 10+ years as Director/VP of Data Science in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing, leading AI-powered decision-making in procurement, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery.
- Proven track record in monetizing AI-driven initiatives, influencing C-suite executives and operational leaders to integrate AI into core business functions (ideally with F1000 / Large Enterprise)
- AI & ML Expertise:
- Deep Learning (Transformers, LSTMs, Attention Mechanisms, Graph Neural Networks) for demand forecasting, route optimization, and anomaly detection.
- Reinforcement Learning (Multi-Agent RL, Deep Q-Learning, PPO, MCTS) for autonomous fleet management, warehouse robotics, and real-time dynamic pricing.
- Bayesian Inference & Causal AI for predictive risk management and scenario planning.
- Generative AI (GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models) for synthetic data generation, supply chain simulations, and inventory management under uncertainty.
- Computer Vision & Robotics (YOLO, Mask R-CNN, 3D Vision, LiDAR) for autonomous warehousing, defect detection, and AI-driven quality control.
- Data Infrastructure & Governance:
- Big Data Pipelines (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Ray, Dask) for scalable supply chain analytics and real-time tracking.
- IoT & Edge AI (TensorRT, ONNX, TinyML) for real-time sensor fusion in logistics, predictive maintenance, and asset tracking.
- Federated Learning & Blockchain for secure, decentralized supply chain optimization and smart contracts.
- Explainable AI (XAI) & AI-driven Decision Intelligence for interpretable AI in supply chain visibility and regulatory compliance.
- Consulting & Strategy: Past experience in top consulting firms, leading enterprise-wide AI adoption in supply chain, logistics, and operations.
- AI Change Management: Expertise in AI governance, compliance, and stakeholder alignment for AI-first supply chain transformations in complex, globally distributed ecosystems.
- Global Supply Chain Expertise: Strong network in manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and retail, with deep understanding of AI-driven sustainability, carbon footprint optimization, and compliance frameworks.
